HOUSTON (July 21, 2016)

The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) International announced that TIRR Memorial Hermann-Greater Heights has been accredited for a period of three years for its inpatient rehabilitation programs-hospital (adult). This is the first accreditation that the international accrediting body, CARF, has awarded to TIRR Memorial Hermann-Greater Heights.

“We’re proud of our team at TIRR Memorial Hermann-Greater Heights and what they’ve accomplished in such a short time,” says Carl Josehart, Senior Vice President and CEO, TIRR Memorial Hermann. “This accreditation confirms the same innovative, high quality rehabilitation care you expect from TIRR Memorial Hermann is also available at TIRR Memorial Hermann-Greater Heights.” This decision represents the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to an organization and shows the organization’s substantial conformance to the CARF standards. An organization receiving a three-year accreditation has put itself through a rigorous peer review process. It has demonstrated to a team of surveyors during an on-site visit its commitment to offering programs and services that are measurable, accountable, and of the highest quality.

“Our team is committed to providing elite, high level healthcare and rehabilitative care to those in the Greater Heights community,” says Susan Jadlowski, Senior Vice President and CEO, Memorial Hermann Greater Heights. “Our staff has worked hard to meet the standards required for this highest level of accreditation in rehabilitative care.”

TIRR Memorial Hermann-Greater Heights offers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services to patients with neurological injury or illness including stroke, physical weakness from injury or illness, and medically complex diagnoses to re-engage in full and meaningful lives.
