Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center (TMC) and Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital are proud to announce the two individuals selected as their 2014 Employees of the Year: Karri Lewis, RN, performance improvement coordinator for the medicine service line at Memorial Hermann-TMC, and Sandra Uribe, RN, BSN, women’s services maternal fetal navigator at Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital.
Lewis has been the chair of the Nursing Peer Review Committee with Memorial Hermann-TMC and Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital since April 2003. Her nominations recognized her as being a “quality improvement person” for the medical service line. Uribe has been with Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital for more than 30 years. Her peers spoke highly of her, saying she keeps everyone “informed and comforted.”
The honorees were chosen after numerous nominations from colleagues. They were presented with their awards at a celebratory luncheon for Campus leadership, employees and the honorees.
