KATY, TEXAS (August 11, 2017)

Patients, visitors, and staff at Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital can now enjoy artwork by some of the area’s top student artists. Ten pieces of artwork provided by Katy Independent School District (KISD) students are now on display along the 2nd floor of the hospital.

“Memorial Hermann Katy is a proud, long-time supporter of Katy ISD. We are inspired by the talented young minds in our community. This exhibit is just another way we can support these young people as they pursue their passions,” says Heath Rushing, Sr. Vice President and CEO of Memorial Hermann Katy.

Parents, KISD staff, and the City of Katy Mayor Chuck Brawner were among those who attended the recent art show revealing the selected pieces. The young artists ranged in age from kindergartener to 8th grade. Memorial Hermann Katy plans to add additional art pieces every year. Memorial Hermann Katy is the official healthcare provider of KISD.
