The family of Baton Rouge Sheriff Deputy Nick Tullier would like to share the following statement:
“As many of you are aware, Nick was recently transferred to TIRR Memorial Hermann in Houston, Texas. Nick’s journey toward recovery is continuous and we recognize that he has a long road ahead of him; today, we are grateful to be here in Houston – at one of the nation’s leading rehabilitation hospitals - for this next phase in his recovery. We wish to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge for providing Nick with exceptional care since his arrival on July 17; they have become a large part of our family and for their care and compassion, we are thankful. With the holidays upon us, we want to take this opportunity to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the community, both in Baton Rouge and all over the country, for the outpouring of love and support we have received these last four months. Your strength has guided us throughout this journey and for that, we are internally grateful."
