SPRING, TEXAS (February 02, 2017)

Memorial Hermann is now seeing patients at its new Convenient Care Center in Spring, Texas. Located at 7474 North Grand Parkway West and Boudreaux Road, the 30,000 square-foot-facility provides highly coordinated access to adult and pediatric primary care via Memorial Hermann Medical Group, as well as sports medicine and rehabilitation services; lab services; outpatient imaging, including MRI, CT, ultrasound, X-Ray and mammography; and a 24-hour Emergency Center.“

Our new Convenient Care Center provides residents of Spring, Klein and the nearby communities of Tomball and Creekside Park with unparalleled access to a variety of services all under one roof,” said Teal Holden, Vice President of Operations, Ambulatory Services for Memorial Hermann Health System. “By offering multiple outpatient services in one location, and at times they aren’t historically available, we’re able to give patients what they want: high-quality, safe care that’s also flexible and convenient.” Memorial Hermann’s Convenient Care Centers are designed to take the stress out of scheduling appointments for routine health needs by offering options such as walk-in access for primary care. Additionally, the on-site Emergency Center is open 24 hours, seven days a week.“

Before the opening of the Grand Parkway, many residents in the Spring and Klein areas had to drive many miles for basic health care,” said Josh Urban, Senior Vice President and CEO of Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Hospital. “

Today, they have direct access to one of Houston’s most awarded and established health networks in the region. We look forward to serving this community and earning their trust.” Those visiting the Convenient Care Center will have access to the larger, fully integrated Memorial Hermann Health System. If a higher level of care is needed, patients can be transferred to nearby Memorial Hermann The Woodlands, or to the System’s flagship facility, Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center. Additionally, patients will have their visit placed in their electronic health record for easy review during follow-up appointments at any of Memorial Hermann’s 15 hospitals or numerous specialty programs and centers located throughout the Greater Houston area.

The Convenient Care Center in Spring is modeled after sister facilities in Cypress, Summer Creek, Pearland, South Katy and Sienna Plantation. Additional facilities are scheduled to open in Kingwood, the Greater Heights and League City later this year.
