Dr. Claudio A. Romero
Dr. Romero is a Board-Certified Urologist with sub-specialization in Voiding Dysfunction. He was born and raised in Guadalajara, Mexico, where he attended medical school at Universidad Autónoma De Guadalajara. After medical school, he completed a full residency in Urology in Mexico. He is a native Spanish-speaker.
Dr. Romero completed a second residency in Urology at The University of Texas Health Science Center and M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. He completed his fellowship training in Urodynamics and Voiding Dysfunctions at The University of Texas Health Science Center, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, and The Institute of Rehabilitation and Research (TIRR).
Though he practices general Urology, Dr. Romero’s areas of expertise are urinary incontinence (men and women), vaginal prolapse, and minimally-invasive procedures for stones and cancer, including Robotic Surgery and laparoscopy. His practice is based in the Clear Lake area, and he also sees patients in downtown Houston and TIRR.
