Mary Ann Euliarte has more than 25 years of experience in
healthcare administration and has held a chief nursing officer position for
more than 20 of those years. She joined TIRR Memorial Hermann in 2007 as chief
As chief nursing officer officer for TIRR Memorial Hermann and the Memorial Hermann Rehabilitation Network, she is responsible for improvements in the practice of nursing within the System’s rehabilitation business unit, which comprises of two freestanding rehabilitation hospitals and the inpatient rehabilitation units within Memorial Hermann’s acute care hospitals and University Place adult living community.
Under her leadership, TIRR Memorial Hermann has seen
significant increases in patient, physician and employee satisfaction, and an
improvement in the registered nurse retention rate to more than 95 percent. Since
her arrival in 2007, the hospital has logged improvements in quality, customer
experience and operational excellence, reinforcing its position as a national
leader in rehabilitation care and research.
Mary Ann Euliarte has recently been selected as one of the 25 Outstanding Nurses for Nursing Celebration 2015.
